Hello, my name is Sherri Carchia-Dailey, the owner of Comfy Critters, & I currently live in South Plainfield, NJ. I have been pet sitting for a long time now, over 10 years, and enjoy it very much. I started pet sitting for my family & friends when I was young and have been doing it ever since. My own pets include thee cats, a dog and a bird. Mickey & Mallory are my cats who I rescued Oct. 2004. Pandora I rescued in Aug. 2008 and Birdy, my cockatiel, has been with me since 1992. Nikita is my dog, a Samoyed I rescued in Sept. 2007. My love for animals and the happiness they bring me is why I chose this path.

Daily Pet Updates (list or e-mail of pet's activities) - if desired
Pet Health (administer medication, insulin for example, seek emergency pet care if needed)Pet Home Maintenance (clean litter box & surrounding area, clean "accidents", keep pet bedding clean)
Household Maintenance (take in newspaper & mail, water plants inside & out (weather permitting), take out garbage)

1 Walk: $14 (15 min) Kittens (to 4 mos.) 2 daily visits recommended
1 Visit: $18 (30 min. each) 1 Visit: $ 15

Small animals & Reptiles
1 Visit: $15

(All visits are 30 minutes in length. Prices quoted are on a per day basis)
Trip to the groomer or vet: $20
Day Care - $20 hour...2 hour min.
Overnight Care - $75 - in your home
Holiday Surcharge: Add $10 to regular price per visit
(Holidays include: New Years Eve, New Years Day, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day)
No Charge: Key pickup, get acquainted visit (as detailed under "initial meeting")
Other: An additional fee of $5 per visit will be added for travel beyond a 8 mile radius of my home base (So. Plainfield)(for ever mile over 10 miles, add $1 per mile)
Initial Meeting & Key Pick Up
Key Pick -Up:
I will pick up key when services are needed or at initial consultation. Otherwise a $5 pick up/drop off fee will apply.

Meet you & your pet(s)
Become familiar with you, your pet(s) and your home environment
Review any special needs for your pet(s) such as: medication, rooms to stay within the home, restricted areas of the home, treats you want me to give them, activity you want me to look out for, transporting for scheduled visits to the groomer or vet.
Go over tavel plans, return dates and times
Decide how many times you wish for me to visit in the time your gone.
Review special home instructions for example: Would you like me to keep lights on, radio or TV's on for comfort?Would you like me to alternate blinds or curtains to deter crime?
Pick up door key. Please let me know if you have an alarm!!!
