I'm Vanessa. I started my own pet sitting business in 2001 while I lived in Kentucky. After moving to New Jersey in 2003 I started my career as a Veterinary Technician. Its the best job I've ever had and I've never wanted to do anything else but work with animals. I've worked with Sherri for a few years now and I love being able to use my technician skills to assist clients with their special needs animals.

Erika#2: My name is Erika and as I write this I have a Chihuahua on my lap, a lab mix laying on my feet and an Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix sitting at my side waiting not so patiently to go outside and play ball. All of them are adopted - two from North Shore Animal League - and they are the absolute light of my life. Two years ago I lost my beloved Cockapoo to congestive heart failure and not long before that I lost her brother to cancer. They both will live on in my heart forever. I have always been an avid animal lover and in addition to dogs, I have lived with/cared for cats, birds, hamsters and fish.

I am a graduate of Rutgers University, a Certified Paralegal and in also have worked in a hospital for many years. I am also certified in Pet First Aid by the American Red Cross. When I look back at all that I have done and accomplished in my life, I can honestly say that my pets, as well as my family's and friend's pets, have always been the source of my utmost joy. Pets love you unconditionally and deserve nothing less than the same in return. Their intuitive nature, honesty and sincerity are characteristics I personally strive for in myself. Pet sitting and dog walking afford me the luxury of doing what I love most - be in the company of animals.

Mary: Hi, my name is Mary and I grew up with a passion for animals. My family had a Great Dane dog and a Thoroughbred horse when I was growing up and this really started my love for animals. All through my life I have had cats, dogs and birds of my own. For seven years I have a Cockatiel bird named Sydney who I am crazy about. I have been pet sitting for friends, family and coworkers for over twenty years. I feel great pleasure helping pets feel comfy and secure when their families are absent and that is why I enjoy pet sitting.

Clea: My name is Clea and I am Sherri’s Aunt. I currently live in Nyack, NY and spend some time in Edison, NJ where my family resides. I have always been an “animal person”. From the very start as a child I had bunnies, mice, turtles, rats, fish, frogs, snakes, cats and dogs as pets. I cared for numerous “rescue animals” as well. Samson, my champion Rhodesian Ridgeback, was among 3 such dogs I had in my life. Unfortunately I lost him 2 years ago after he lived a full happy 13 years. Now it’s just me & Nicky, a pigeon I rescued from the windowsill of a New York City apartment building as a chick. Nicky is now 5 years old.
